How to practise with these cards
Each role play runs about five minutes, with three minutes of preparation first. You read only the Candidate Card. Your partner, a friend, a colleague, even a family member, reads the Roleplayer Card and plays the patient. You are the doctor throughout, and everything you need is on your card.
Your job is not medical knowledge. Your job is communication: open the conversation, confirm the name, listen, re echo the concerns, explain in plain language, and close with a clear plan. That sequence has a name in my teaching, the 9 Point Pattern, and it works on every card in this set and every card in the real exam.
